I'm trying to get another but they appear to be sold out! Aug 17, 31 0 18, Ronald Archiebald: I'm trying to get another but they appear to be sold out! Ronald, I've just bought another for Skiman New member. Nov 1, 35 0 0. Great bits of kit and very well made and look so cool on the stand.
I linked them up over the weekend using the HC sockets for sub and amp and can defiinitely hear a noticeable improvement in music playback - so much more clarity and space to the music especially noticeable with SACD and the bass is much more refined and controlled.
All in all a really worthwhile purchase at a bargain price. Regards Skiman. Regards Thank you, Lazar!! My PF50 arrived home today. To be precise, I brought it back, having got it on ebayon the weekend. This was a bit of a mistake, not the purchase, but the collecting in person. It's huge and heavy, nearly 13kg.
The walk from the station to the seller's house took 5 or so minutes. The walk back took 20! I'm going to have some dinner and recover, and then I'm going to open up the box and have a play. So i've plugged everything bar my sub into the PF50 and plugged into the wall. First impressions: the picture on my Kuro off cable looks a little clearer and less noisy. A full test of sound and vision will have to wait for the weekend.
It is a solid piece of kit, isn't it, built like a tank - as my shoulders can attest to having carried it home. Having seen it's power cable, Mrs. Scene checked whether I was sure it didn't need three phase.
You little tinker! A PF50!?! Well, we look forward to an in-depth report after the weekend. ESP You little tinker! Ain't I just. You must log in or register to reply here. Post thread. Ground ok. The AC wall outlet is properly grounded. Ground Fault. See page 20 of the Troubleshooting section from more information. Timed Delay Indicator — indicates that the delayed outlets are switched ON after a delay.
This outlet contains a digital noise filter and is a convenient place to connect digital video cameras, digital still cameras, MP3 players, or any other portable device in need of AC power. Simply remove the small door covering the outlet by sliding it to the right Fig. This outlet is always live always-on when the Power Console is plugged into AC power. Some outlets require a wall switch to be turned on in order to deliver power to the outlet.
The Power Console is not designed to handle current loads larger than 15 Amps or watts. Try unplugging some devices and resetting the circuit breaker located on the end of the Power Console. To reset the circuit breaker: Wait at least 10 minutes after the circuit breaker was tripped before attempting to reset the breaker.
Press in the button located next to the power cord on the end of the unit to reset. Power should be restored to the outlets on the Power Console.
If the light is not illuminated, press the Switched button on the front of the Power Console unit until the Switched ON indicator is illuminated. You should now have power to all of the switched outlets.
Power may be flowing from the Power Console, but if the power switch on your component is not turned on then your component cannot receive power. Turn on the power switch on your component. Call Belkin Customer Service for assistance. Do not use 2—3-prong adapters. Unplug the Power Console and consult an electrician to properly ground the outlet.

For all other technical questions or troubleshooting issues, please contact Belkin Customer Service at It is an electrical current in the form of a sine wave that oscillates up and down continuously. Amp: An abbreviation for Ampere. This is a unit of electrical current. Direct Current DC : An electrical current flowing in one direction only. DC current does not have a wave form.
Electromagnetic Interference EMI : Electrical interference generated by appliances and many other electrical components that cause degradation of sound and picture quality in audio and video equipment.
Ground: A conducting object, such as a wire, that is connected to a position of zero-voltage potential. Common connecting points are ground rods or cold-water pipes that are connected to the Earth. Joule Rating: A measure of electrical energy. The higher the joule rating, the more electrical surges a device can absorb before failing. Maximum Spike Current: The maximum current in Amps that can be absorbed before failing.
The higher the maximum spike current, the more current a device can absorb without failing. Radio Frequency Interference RFI : Electromagnetic radiation, which is emitted by electrical circuits carrying rapidly changing signals as a byproduct of their normal operation, and which causes interference or noise to be induced in other circuits. Spike: A very fast transient variation in voltage or current.
Many small transients, over time, cause components to wear and fail. Surge: An increase in voltage or current significantly above the designated level in a flow of electricity. If you are using an AC PureAV Power Console that has phone, network, or coaxial protection, the telephone line, network line, and coaxial-cable line must be properly connected and installed, as determined by Belkin at its sole discretion.

The front LCD panel monitors the unit's vital functions. Large segments display the incoming line voltage. Current is also displayed for any one of the six power banks. The user can also choose to see the total current of all connected components. The PF60 can be turned on by a remote component such as a preamplifier or receiver. This is a nice feature that only turns the unit on when power is needed.
The user must enable the Remote function on the front panel of the PF60 by using the Remote button. The Bank button is used to select any or all of the banks being monitored by the front panel meter. Upon each button push the unit goes over Banks 1 through 6 and then selects all of them. The bank indicator on the front panel shows what bank s is active. The Dimmer button selects the level of the backlight on the LCD. There are a total of six levels that the user can choose from, but none of them completely darken the display.
We would have liked to see a seventh Off mode for those who want no light from the front of the unit especially when watching movies in the dark. Rear Panel The rear panel of the PF60 provides a total of 12 outlets, grouped in pairs for six filter banks. Each bank is designed to offer the user with specific filter needs. For example, the video filter banks are optimized for filtering noise from the video spectrum while the hi-current outputs provide some filtering, but not at the expense of limiting dynamic current needed for high power amplifiers.
For each bank, one toggle switch selects between Switched and Unswitched. If the Switched mode is selected for the outlet, the user can use the second toggle switch to choose whether that outlet is delayed or not.
Even the 12V trigger out can be switched or delayed.
