Embedding windows media web page
The example below shows the code for embedding a Windows Media file. This is to enable maximum browser compatibility. You will need to set the file name and other attributes if required for both tags. To get started, all you have to do is copy the code above into your web page and replace videofilename. If you want to get more advanced you can alter the parameters below.
Note that including extra features such as the status bar requires the player to have more height. I'm no expert—just struggling like everyone else. If I do learn anything new, I'll post about it here. Thanks, everyone!
You can make it harder, but you can't stop it outright. This code doesn't work well on Myspace. It will embed the player but you'll see a bunch of the code on top of the video itself and there are no controls on the player.
You have to right click it and go to "Play" for the video to start. No it actually works on myspace fine. You just have to tweak the code Same goes for everything else. Then it works perfectly fine. We're a non-profit arts center. Video clips, for us, are a great sales tool. Quick question: I don't want clips to auto-run, since not everyone has high-speed connections. But I would like the first frame of the video to display in the WMV window. Do you know how to do that?
What do I do? Volume settings are just that A value of is about mid-range. You can change that too if you like. BOTH values must be changed to be the same values, to ensure that the volume level is the same in all major browsers.
