At OU, fostering an environment of integrity, respect, and the highest ethical standards is a top priority. Each member of the OU community shares the responsibility of ensuring these values are firmly upheld and concerns are promptly addressed. The reporting hotline — OU Report It! The hotline is hosted by Navex Global, an independent third party, to provide an avenue to confidentially report suspected wrongdoing or unethical behavior without the fear of retaliation.

We understand that you may have pockets of support and communities of belonging apart from the Multicultural Programs and Services team, but we hope you include us as part of your holistic care. We are here as advocates for you.

The Multicultural Programs and Services MCPS team has received numerous requests concerning how to be more involved in confronting and dismantling racism, in condemning violent acts against marginalized populations, and specifically within our black communities, and how to be more intentional and more effective as an ally.

The program is full of benefits, including attending international conferences, one-on-one coaching and skill building in leadership and cultural awareness. Not to mention tons of fun and free events throughout the semester!

The Multicultural program hosts and assists in planning several conferences each year, such as the College Success Seminar and the Student Leadership Conference. Students in the Multicultural program also have the opportunity to attend state-wide and national conferences. Whether you want to learn better time management or strategize your studying, these workshops are here to help.

Our office offers a variety of programs and services that support student academic success and enhance the college learning experience. We invite you to join and participate in diverse extracurricular, co-curricular, and curricular programs that offer leadership opportunities, identity exploration, and development; promote multicultural education; enhance student retention; and provide venues for social action, service, and collaborative endeavors.

OMP is the place to be! All events are open to all students, faculty, staff, and community. Gordon is the president of Ed Gordon Media, a multi-service production company. The adjustment to campus culture can also become increasingly difficult for students of marginalized communities.
